James Louis Zemelman
James Louis Zemelman of Las Vegas died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008. He was 76.
He was born Sept. 25, 1931, in Cleveland. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Zemelman practiced law for more than 50 years and was a member of the Nevada and Missouri Bar Associations.
He married Elaine L. Zemelman on Jan. 1, 1984.
Mr. Zemelman was also an avid fan of MU football, and it made for a good weekend whenever MU won, his son, Mark Zemelman, said.
Zemelman is survived by his wife, Elaine, of St. Louis; his son, Mark, of Overland Park, Kan.; his daughters, Alice Ann Zemelman of Palm Springs, Calif., and Suzanne Gellman of St. Louis; and grandchildren Lisa Zemelman, Amy Zemelman and Alex Gellman.
Graveside services will be held noon on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at United Hebrew Cemetery in St. Louis.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity may be made.
