Sarah D. Pace
Sarah D. Pace of Columbia died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center. She was 93.
She was born July 30, 1915, in Boone County to Walter T. and Eva (Martin) Crane.
On July 26, 1932, she married Turner Dothage, who died on May 19, 1959. She then married Paul L. Pace on Sept. 1, 1961, and he died on Aug. 4, 1991.
Mrs. Pace worked at Brown Shoe Factory and University Hospital for several years.
She was involved in the Warren Extension Club and attended Rocky Fork Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pace is survived by her son, Bernard Dothage of Columbia; her brother, Marion Crane of Columbia; her grandson, Scott Dothage; two great-grandchildren, Amber and Sydney Dothage; and several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers and four sisters died earlier.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Parker Funeral Service and Crematory, 22 N. Tenth St. Services, conducted by Elder John T. Anderson, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker Funeral Service. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 30 E. Broadway.
